Jennifer Aniston buys Oprah Winfrey’s Montecito home for $14.8 million

Jennifer Aniston has just purchased Oprah Winfrey’s Tuscan-style farmhouse for a cool $14.8 million.

The Mediterranean-inspired property was originally part of a larger estate in Montecito, the celebrity-favored neighborhood that is an unrivaled maze of some of the world’s best homes. Records from Siteline Santa Barbara (opens in new tab) show talk show host Oprah sold a large estate in two separate transactions for a total of $17 million – one of which was to Jennifer Aniston.

Oprah bought the estate in early 2021, paying $10.5 million from Fred Shuman, a New York hedge fund manager, and his wife, Stephanie. Over the years, the couple assembled the estate into what it is today – featuring the main house (bought by Jennifer), two small cottages, and verdant gardens across its 2.1-acres.
